The New York Times, the Washington Post, and the Los Angeles Times are among the papers that have published articles and commentary about the song “I’m Not Gonna Let You Go,” a new album by the hip-hop group Public Enemy.
The album was released in June, and it features the song’s song title, “I Am Gonna be Free,” as well as the phrase, “Ain’t nothing but a song and I’m not gonna let you go.”
The lyrics are taken from a speech the group delivered during the 2008 presidential election, in which they spoke of the need for racial equality.
The song has been featured on numerous Billboard charts, including No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 4 on the Hot Rock Songs chart.
Public Enemy’s new album, released on Friday, was inspired by a performance of the song that they made for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People’s national convention in 2008.
“We did a lot of talking about how we felt and where we came from and how we wanted to go forward and where this country was going,” said Public Enemy lead singer Chris Cornell in a recent interview with Rolling Stone.
“The song I wanted to make was about a guy who’s never really felt anything, but he’s always been a part of a movement, a revolution.”
The song is about a man who can’t seem to find a way out of a prison.
He’s a slave, but is forced to stay for five years after being released, and then comes out of prison and starts a family.
“He’s an activist, but it’s a little bit dark,” Cornell said of the lyric.
The album includes the title track, which features an interlude featuring the vocals of rapper Childish Gambino. “
It’s a song about feeling stuck, and I think it’s just the right moment for me to speak about it.”

The video for the song features the rapper performing with a crowd of people, some of whom are dressed as slaves.
Gambino said in a video message posted to Twitter, “If you’ve got an idea of how to change, I want to help you out.”
The video ends with Gambino saying, “You just have to be willing to do the work.”
He also included the hashtag “#IAMGONDAFUCKINGFREE.”
“I really think that’s the point of it, to bring a lot more people into the conversation,” Gambino added in a Facebook video.
The band is touring this summer.
The “I am Gonna Give You All I Got” video was released on June 30, and in it, the band can be seen sitting on the edge of a cliff.
“There is a lot to be said about the power of words, but I think we just kind of got to say it,” Cornell told Rolling Stone in the interview.
“In the world of hip-hopping and social justice, you just don’t have time to wait for the word to come out.
You just have the words to go out there and do it.
I’m just glad I’m in a position where I can make a statement and make a difference, and let everybody know that we’re out here.”
